305 Chase House Ltd has now taken possession of the mixed use residential and office development at Chase Road, Southgate. The project is the first scheme delivered by Black for the client at Southgate.
Beacon House provides 27 new low energy homes with ASHP and MVHR through a combination of 9 new build concrete framed apartments and 18 properties delivered by remodelling the original three storey steel framed office building. Two new lightweight construction floors of open plan office space are introduced at the top of the original building, with independent access to Chase House from the original building core.
An application is with Enfield Council to undertake a similar residential use extension and conversion of Solar House on the opposite site of Chase Road, delivering 30 new homes that adopt the same low carbon conditioning strategy.
