The Museum of London Docklands hosted the final two days of initial exploration into the Systems Change programme, bringing together the fractal groups that were prototyping ideas which challenged our understanding of the built environment.
Over the course of the last six months Black have been in conversations with leaders from diverse organisations to record their experiences of the built environment. What is the purpose of this space we create, is it purposeful? The feedback received from Kairos, a charity supporting people with substance addictions, a community led housing association and other organisations demonstrated that the built environment is a complex system that can impact positively and negatively on our society.
The fractal groups have brought together their thoughts on materials, finance, purpose, leadership and voices. Taking time to pause and rethink where we all fit into this built environment system has begun, it now needs to change
