Special Recognition award for Black
The practice have received the CRASH construction charity Special Recognition award for their ongoing work with both homeless and hospice charities.
The award reflects Black’s commitment to use our architectural expertise to help organisations that are in need of professional advise and design skills. The partnership with CRASH has introduced us to homeless charities helping people in East London, North Wales, Winchester and Bedford, and to hospices working in Oxford and South London. Our work has ranged from funding being secured on the back of designs to projects being delivered, improving the lives of the building users who form part of the project teams.
The relationship offers the opportunity to work on unusual projects, with innovative ideas being required to deliver maximum benefit for minimal expenditure.
