By maintaining the Golden Thread Black are able to take this project from feasibility stage to in use and gain valuable feedback on how this 100% electric development performs and then apply it to future designs.
Following the granting of consent last year for a scheme designed by the practice commissioned by Watford Borough Council and Watford Community Housing, pre-construction phase work has commenced on the four new residential blocks. This second phase of works extends the initial scheme that Black Architecture designed for the joint venture client and enables a new public space to be formed that links the existing Croxley View community with the new residents.
Construction work on this £16m development will commence later in the year, with new homes ready for occupation in 2021.
