Research undertaken by the Triodos indicates that two thirds of those questioned believe the planet is in a worse shape than it has ever been and that the next 12 months are critical in tackling the climate emergency.
Changes in the built environment can be achieved by adopting the sustainable design principles that Black follow, but need support from clients, funders and building users for them to be more widely accepted. The same Triodos survey indicated that only 1 in 20 would switch to an ethical investment with their own cash, questioning the true ‘colour of money’.
Black invests in Triodos and the causes they support by banking with them. We also believe that the green economy is sustainable and will flourish with ongoing support from the whole built environment sector.
