The year ends with the consent of a new mews house designed to LETI environmental standards in a private lane behind Seven Sisters Road, Islington.
As part of the commitment to delivering net zero carbon homes, Black have secured consent for a two bedroom house tucked away in Finsbury Park. The design incorporates a fabric first approach with high performance triple glazed windows set within a super insulated wall construction. Adopting similar principles to Rodmill Lane, an air source heat pump is linked to a central water cylinder and underfloor heating system. Bedrooms are located at ground floor around a rear lightwell, whilst living accommodation is placed at first floor, benefiting from increased natural light. A roof terrace links living and dining spaces, and provided valuable private amenity.
Tender documents will be issued in January with an anticipated start on site in the Spring of 2021.
