The joint venture between Watford Borough Council and Watford Community Housing has delivered 86 new homes on the Holywell Estate, designed by Black as part of our wider masterplan for the west of the town.
The elected mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, commented that the homes are well designed and most importantly bring affordable rent, as well as affordable ownership to this part of the borough. The second phase of development extends the new street created in phase one, terminating at a new pedestrianised public space that links footpaths and cycleways with the wider Croxley View housing estate.
Phase 3 of the masterplan is currently in the early stages of the planning permission process with designs being developed by the practice in conjunction with the housing association and officers at Watford Borough Council.
