Five years after first meeting up with the team at Lewisham Sports Consortium the vision of creating a new community space is coming together as we start a new year.
The charity provide support for children and young people, in particular to those from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, with a focus on sport to deliver education and training programmes. The activities are designed to improve social, moral and intellectual development of those who attend for the benefit of the whole community. Black Architecture have supported LSC through our initial design work and will now assist in aspiration to finally realise the project.
Phased proposal begin with improving changing facilities and creating a new hub, and head towards a comprehensive clubhouse facility fit for an organisation that is supporting the community.
