Despite the lockdown restrictions imposed due to Coronavirus, the design team working on Morey Gallery have been able to prepare a full set of tender documents using a mix of shared BIM models and MS Teams coordination meetings. Capital investment in the scheme continues to be supported by the GLA through the Skills for Londoners Capital Investment Fund Grant – Adult Learning Spaces programme, a recognition of the value this asset will bring to the local boroughs.
When complete, the project will provide the College with an expanded gallery that will host a mix of student and visiting exhibition artwork, as well as providing new spaces to teach, research and explore.
