Black Architecture have been reappointed to the expanded Watford Community Housing Framework that now covers Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and surrounding authorities into London, as well as the original area of Hertfordshire.
The framework provides public and third sector clients the opportunity to directly appoint a range of build environment specialists to undertake feasibility, planning and construction stage services. The consultant selection route offers both cost and time savings over appointments that have to be tendered under government procurement rules. Access to the framework is straightforward, with the Black able to introduce new clients where they wish to work with the practice.
Black Architecture have secured planning consent for over 250 new homes under the original framework and are using the new agreement to develop the next phase of designs for Net Zero Carbon affordable homes.
